I went to help can yesterday so I missed posting. Did pretty well with the sugar yesterday. I had about five different fruits and my numbers last night was 129.
I am looking forward to youth conference this weekend. The boys in my semnary class asked if I was a host parent. When I told them I was they said, We hope we get you. That was nice to hear. But I have a feeling they want me cause they know I will let them get away with murder.
We got a hold of someone to look at Trae's Eagle project--hope by this time tomorrow we will have it approved. That would be so cool. We are ready to be done.
Had a great idea for seminary this morning but didn't spend enough time on it so the results were not what I wanted. This calling keeps me on my toes.

Day 8
ARRRRGGGHHH! Gained two pounds. I may have to change the name of the post. I wasn't very careful over the weekend. Exercise would probably be a good idea but I think food is the real key. Try, try again!

Day five
To be brutally honest--yesterday was a train wreck. I ate a lot of sugar and chocolate! I was realtively happy though! Worked very hard on Trae's project, I think we may have a winner.
Today was a good day. We took Ryne to the temple. Rick says we are 83% done. Ryne did very well. Craig went through today too. It was fun to have them there together. They have been pretty close the last four or more years--rooming together at college was almost their downfall but I think they are back to being buds! They are both great young men and will be awesome missionaries. Grandpa and Grandma J were there as well as Debbie and Wendy. It was a hard session for me, knew it would be. I will miss my little hummer/singer/infomercial lovin Rynie but this will be so good for him. I miss Bryant--it's been a long time! I put Kirsties name in the temple. I am going to see what I can do about that--I miss her too! We are very fortunate to have the gospel in our lives and the Priesthood. Great, grat day!

Day three
I took my numbers last night and it was 65--a tad low--so resourceful woman I am I ran (not walked) to Ryne's room and ate some chocolate Easter candy. I was at 170 this morning--should have been smarter about what I was using to raise my sugar. Nuts!
I think we have an Eagle project. We visited with Bro Knecht yesterday and he has a concrete slab he neeeds poured. I am hoping we can get right on this. It would be really nice to get this done. Trae is very excited. Wish us luck!
We are going to the distribution center for Ryne today. It is so weird to think that he will be going through the temple this weekend. It makes me wonder if I have done everything I could to get him ready and the answer is no--I'm sure I havent. We are still waiting to hear from the census. I have been pretty optimistic but I am starting to wonder.

Day Two
I was a little disappointed at my numbers, 168 last night and 160 this morning. I did eat pudding and mashed potates--let's see what today brings. My feet seem to be doing better since I started wearing the shoes. I still have the charlie horses and the tingling but the other pain is certainly less.
I got an e-mail from my dad yesterday. I sent him an e-mail the day before and he commented on how easily I make him smile. That is a huge compliment for me. Making him proud has always been a goal for me and if someone should say to me "you're just like your dad", I would be happy.
I hope to finish painting the patio today, get the ironing done and my hair trimmed. I also will take Trae to see Bro. Knecht about an Eagle project. It would be nice to cross that one off the list.

Day one
Bro. Meacham always said, "If you want to get it right, write". After many failed attempts of dieting I want to go back to what was successful for me before--what a concept! So I will be weighing weekly, eating more healthy and exercising daily. I hope to chronicle my success here and hopefully start the journal I have always felt I should. Here are my goals. I would like to loose 30lbs in the next 4 months (before ELder B gets home). I would like to control my blood sugar (stay below140). I want to be more flexible and more mobile. Here goes! Wish me luck!
